The Essential Lip Refill comes in a custom clamshell that may be kept and reused. This allows you to build your collection of lip colors and swap into the Essential Lip Compact as needed. Perfecto
I have two others so I’m familiar with the formula but I still wish the color was a bit softer, more moisturizing. As is it has great color payoff. It is a slightly warm red but it doesn’t veer too orange. It can be thinned out or worn more opaque.
Between the old Hollywood glamour compact to the beautiful nude 2 color it’s absolutely perfect!
Where to start in my praise of this product? Ok let's begin with the colour which is a perfect dusky pink woody brown hybrid and immensely flattering. The lasting power is really good. It feels good on the lips as does the accompanying balm. Pat it on with finger or build a saturated precise lip with a lip brush. It's impossible to make it look bad! The only problem is that I am now craving ALL the different colours. Do yourself a favour and just buy it.
