Hand crafted with vegan bristles; the custom designed dual sided Buffer Brush was created for the Essential Face Compact system. The curved side of the brush effortlessly buffs Smooth Veil Soft Matte into skin delivering a soft-focused and seamless complexion. The flat side of the brush glides the glass-like Shine Baume onto the high points of the face for a dewy and lifted effect. The bristles are soft and fluffy yet compact, delivering the perfect amount of pressure to create a flawless customizable finish.

The Buffer Brush is handmade in Japan using FSC certified hornbeam wood with a brass ferrule. Crafted with vegan bristles of different sizes, hand chosen and assembled, to pick up the precise amount of product.
A finishing touch for an overall lifted look- dip the curved side of the Buffer Brush into the Smooth Veil Soft Matte, then glide product from the corners of the mouth lifting upwards, repeat this motion starting at the corners of the eye towards your temples. Blend until seamless.Tutorial
Dip the curved side of the brush into the Smooth Veil Soft Matte formula, lightly or generously depending on desired opacity, and apply from the center of the face and moving outwards. Layer gradually for a fuller coverage. Swipe the flat side of the brush into Shine Baume and gently glide product onto the high points of the face where glow is desired. Buffer Brush - Care Gently wash Buffer Brush with lukewarm water and soap made for brush cleansing. Once clean, squeeze excess water out with a tissue or a towel. Lay flat to dry completely.

I love how little (short-handled) this brush is! I wear glasses, and using long-handled brushes while getting close enough to a mirror to see is a disaster. This is my dream brush. And it works so well, grabbing just a little of the face compact and then delivering a smooth veil that looks impeccable. I definitely recommend it as the perfect complement to the face compact. Thanks to FH for offering it in a set, because I probably wouldn't have tried it otherwise, but I'm so glad I did because I LOVE it.

I was a bit taken snackbar by the small size of this brush, because I was expecting a foundation brush. That it is not. It’s a wonderful little concealer brush, that can get into the little areas around the eyes perfectly. I’ve found that the best was to use the brush with the foundation/balm combo is to first prep the skin, then pat some of the balm (highlighter) under the eyes, around any areas that tend to crease and show wrinkles. Then take small amounts of the foundation with the brush and blend, blend blend. You don’t need to put this stuff all over your face in the same way. I think it looks best when used sparingly and in places where you need coverage.
That makes the Face compact application fool-proof. Love this brush and compact system - my skin has never looked better
